Tourists from all over the world are attracted there by unique flora and fauna, rough rivers, clean lakes, hot springs, mineral springs, and glaciers. It is easy to come there from main settlements because it is located relatively close to domestic volcanoes. In winter mountain skiers and snowboarders come to ride mountain slopes. Summer is good for hiking, botanical tours, walking, volcano climbing. In touristic places there are arctic ground squirrels (Kamchatka ground squirrels), which are not afraid of tourists and often approach them for a treat. Tourists can walk to Aag springs, the Vershinskoye lake, the Vershinskye springs, Talovsky hot springs, the Dzendzur volcano, and the waterfall in Shumnaya river. A cup-shaped Nalychevo river valley is surrounded by active and extinct volcanoes of the Avacha and Dzendzur-Zhupanovskaya volcano groups. The river valley is rich in mineral springs. The Nalychevo mineral water system exists more than 25 thousand years and includes more than a hundred waters, different by chemical composition and temperature. Medical properties of springs are known since the 19th century. The seaside area of the park is less visited by tourists. It is perfect for scientific and educational tourism. The Nalychevo lake is the largest lake for salmon spawning in the area. In summer red-necked grebes build nests on the surface of the lake. In the cape area you can sea brown bears, sea mammals, sea and coastal birds, and nesting places of Steller's sea eagle. Tourist routes of the Nalychevo claster The South Kamchatka park is one of the most visited areas of the peninsula, though some landscapes, flora and fauna are still insufficiently studied. It is the best destination for tourists who love discovering. Here is the Pacific coast with rocky slopes, quiet bays and endless beaches. When hiking in this area, mountain climbers visit the largest Kamchatka glaciers - Bogdanovich glacier and Erman glacier (each one is 45 square km). Going round the Ostry Tolbachik and the Plosky Tolbachik, visitors will see unique sights - "sheep" rocks and stone piles, the valley of Leontopodium flowers, and the canyon of the Studenaya river, with basalt spheres stuck in its walls. It is important to know that at noon the canyon gets filled up with muddy river streams, which come from the Bogdanovich glacier.
